Use any good acrylics or latex enamels, house paint etc. for the hat & coat. You choose color.(probably will need about 4 oz.) I"d recommend decoart AMericana multipurpose satin. It has a sealer in it.
Bring: Black, white & a flesh color. Sea sponge, paper towels, stylus, graphite paper, palette knife, water basin. palette paper pad.
A 1 1/2" or 2" foam brush and a 1" foam brush.
Your regular brush assortment.
After class, you should plan to apply a sealer to the entire surface of the wood, esp if you put it outside. An exterior varnish, polyurethane, or several coats of a good acrylic spray finish.
I plan to sand the wood but you might need to bring a piece of 220 grit sandpaper and an old hard sponge or block of wood.
